A. For Culpa Innata Support

General gameplay tips:

Culpa Innata has a non-linear gameplay path that varies from player to player as they make their unique choices on which places to go, lines of questions to ask and when to do certain tasks.

Comparing your status with other players may not be helpful as it is likely they have taken a very different route through the game.

Culpa Innata is also deliberately designed with replayability in mind and also to make players choices in the game have real value. But nothing critical to achieving “an” ending in the game can be missed. However there are people, events, even entire locations that may be missed on your first (or subsequent) playthroughs, but this doesn’t mean you have to repeat your choices as you will “NEVER” miss anything critical to achieving an ending to your game. In fact no one will see all people, experience all events, or perceive NPC’s necessarily the same in any one gameplay.

We do encourage creating save slots for moments that appear to be clear choices, so that you have convenient save points to go back if you like and explore other paths through the game.

If you continue to have problems with installing the game or have graphical and/or sound issues while playing:

Check the minimum and recommended specifications for the game and make sure your system is compatible and/or has the minimum required system specs to install and play Culpa Innata.

Check your version of Directx, if the version you have is not 9.0c or higher, you can download latest DirectX End-User Runtime at Microsoft Download Center.

Check your sound and graphics drivers and make sure you have the most current drivers installed. Generally if your versions are 6 months old or older, they are not the current versions.

To get your system information to check these things and also if you need to contact us directly with any technical issues you will need your system specifications information. To get this you will need to run dxdiag, which is a system tool that gives you full information on your system, current drivers and directx version.

To run this program:

Select “Start”, click on it and then select “run”
In the textbox that appears type in “dxdiag” no spaces.
When the dxdiag window appears, click the “save all information” tab.
Select where you want the report saved to and select “save”.
Once you have saved the report, click to open.

This file has a great deal of useful information and must be attached to any mail sent to us for technical support questions. Without this information it is hard for us to help you.

You may also go to the options area of the main Culpa Innata start menu and adjust the screen resolution, or turn off anti-aliasing if your game is running slow on your system and your system specs are at the minimum rather than recommended levels of performance for the game.

WINDOWS VISTA INSTALL ISSUE WORKAROUND

In some instances with Windows Vista the windows security features can prolong the launch of an installation setup or autorun. The best way to go about this until Microsoft issues a fix is to launch the setup manually and wait for the game's installation menu to open:

Go to "My Computer"
Right click on the DVD Drive and select "Explore"
Run the "Setup.exe" file

It may take up to 20 minutes until vista opens the setup menu, once the game is installed it will open immediately every time.
